About Quad Squad
Quad Squad is a free Space Invaders-style game for 3rd graders. Each round shows a four-sided shape or a mystery clue. Pick the right name (square, rectangle, rhombus, parallelogram or trapezoid) to load your laser, then tap to aim your laser and zap a small, slow wave of wobbly shape invaders before they reach your base.
Shapes are marked with equal sides, parallel sides and right angles, and students choose the most specific name, so a square is a square, not just a rectangle. Wrong answers never cost a heart, and a missed round makes the next one easier. Three levels start gentle and get a little faster as students improve, and students earn up to three stars.
