Angle Laser Maze
Angle Laser Maze is a light-reflection puzzle game built around one physics rule: the angle a beam hits a mirror at equals the angle it bounces off at. Rotate mirrors to redirect a laser through corridors and around walls until it reaches the target ring. Early levels teach the rule directly, showing the incoming and outgoing angles at every bounce; later levels turn into full mazes requiring up to a dozen precisely placed mirrors. A Free Mode lets you design your own laser mazes from scratch — place mirrors, walls, the laser emitter, and the target anywhere on the grid.
How to Play
Tap or click the right half of a mirror to rotate it clockwise, the left half to rotate it counter-clockwise.
Guide the laser beam from the emitter to the target ring using only mirror bounces.
Walls block the beam completely, so route around them.
Toggle the ANGLES button to show or hide the incidence and reflection angles at each bounce.
Press RESET to return all mirrors in the level to their starting angles.
Use PREV/NEXT or the level dots to jump between puzzles; solved levels are marked.
Free Mode
Switch to FREE mode to build your own maze.
Choose a tool — Mirror, Wall, Laser, Target, or Erase — then tap the grid to place it.
Tap the laser emitter to cycle its firing direction.
Your custom board saves automatically so you can keep building across visits.
Strategy Tips
Work backward from the target on multi-mirror levels — figuring out the angle needed at the last mirror often makes the earlier ones obvious.
Keep ANGLES turned on while learning; it shows directly why a bounce did or didn’t line up.
In maze levels, trace the open corridor path first, then figure out which mirror angles connect it.
Skills Practiced
- Angles of incidence and reflection (the law of reflection)
- Spatial reasoning and path visualization
- Logical planning and backward reasoning
- Precision and iterative problem-solving
Angle Laser Maze is free to play in your browser with no login or download, and works on Chromebooks, laptops, and tablets with mouse or touch controls. Puzzle progress and Free Mode designs are saved automatically between visits.
