Spelling with Prefixes and Suffixes
About Spelling with Prefixes and Suffixes
Third grade Language Arts spelling practice. Kids add prefixes and suffixes to base words and pick the correct spelling, using the rules for dropping the e, doubling the last letter, and changing y to i. Questions can be read aloud.
There are 3 levels of 10 questions each, from easy to challenging. A wrong answer gets a hint, a second miss shows the answer, and stars are earned at the end. Nothing is timed, and no sign-in is needed.
