Soft G and Soft C
About Soft G and Soft C
Second grade Language Arts practice on the two sounds of c and g. A c or g before e, i, or y is usually soft, like city and giraffe. Students sort words, match them to pictures, spell them, and read sentences. Every question can be read aloud.
There are 3 levels of 10 questions each, from easy to challenging. A wrong answer gets a hint, a second miss shows the answer, and stars are earned at the end. Nothing is timed, and no sign-in is needed.
