Prefixes and Suffixes
About Prefixes and Suffixes
Fifth grade Language Arts practice on word parts. Kids work out what words with pre-, re-, sub-, mis-, un-, dis-, in-, im-, non-, -ful, -less, -able, and -ible mean, sort words by meaning and part of speech, and finish word patterns. Questions can be read aloud.
There are 3 levels of 10 questions each, from easy to challenging. A wrong answer gets a hint, a second miss shows the answer, and stars are earned at the end. Nothing is timed, and no sign-in is needed.
