Multiplication Practice
Build fluency with multiplication facts and track your progress with accuracy and streaks.
Student Tips:
Remember multiplication is repeated addition (3 × 4 = 4 + 4 + 4).
Use skip counting to find answers quickly (3, 6, 9, 12…).
Look for patterns in multiplication tables to make facts easier to remember.
Teaching Instruction:
Introduce multiplication with real objects or arrays (like rows of counters) to show “groups of.” I love the Schoolhouse Rock series of Multiplication videos and each one shows a grouping pattern for the particular number.
Skills Practiced
- Recalling the 9 times table, from 9 × 1 to 9 × 12
- Multiplying by 9 with the number in either order (9 × 7 and 7 × 9)
- Spotting the 9s patterns, such as digits of each product adding up to 9
- Building multiplication fact fluency for grades 3-5 with accuracy and streak feedback
