About Adding Big Numbers
This free practice helps fourth graders add multi-digit whole numbers accurately. Kids estimate sums by rounding, add with regrouping, use the properties of addition, and solve word problems.
There are three levels of 10 questions. Level 1 adds three- and four-digit numbers, level 2 moves to six digits, and level 3 reaches millions with three or four addends and missing digits. A hint appears after a miss and kids earn up to 3 stars.
