Fast little microgames that teach the home row first, then unlock new keys as you go, with a mouse challenge every fifth round. Free, no login, plays in the browser.
Best for: grades 2-5 · keyboarding and mouse control · 5-10 minutes · desktop, Chromebook, tablet
How to Play
- Pick a starting point: home row, more keys, or most keys.
- Each round gives one task: pop the letters, catch the falling keys, type the word, or press space to jump.
- Every fifth round switches to the mouse for clicking, double-clicking, dragging or steering.
- Four hearts. Miss a round and you lose one, and every fifth round unlocks new keys.
Classroom Ideas
- Daily five-minute warmup on home row start, with students logging their best score for the week.
- Mouse-skills rotation for younger or newer computer users, letting the double-click and drag rounds carry the lesson.
