Pencil Playground is an interactive physics toy that lets players become a pencil and explore how it rolls, pivots, writes, erases, collides, and wears down. Set on a wooden desktop, the game includes lined paper, a coffee mug, a sharpener, and a checklist of playful pencil tricks to discover.
With one finger, players push the pencil so it rolls and turns around the contact point. Using two fingers moves it in a straighter line without rotating as sharply. Pinching near the sharpened tip stands the pencil upright for writing, while pinching the pink eraser raises the opposite end for erasing. Releasing the pencil makes it fall back onto the desk with a satisfying clatter.
