Super Math Land Subtraction

How to Play

Choose your Game Settings (difficulty, starting world, lives, bull speed).

• Solve the Subtraction problem and press OK (or hit Enter).
• If you’re correct, the dice rolls and Cubey moves that many spaces.
• The bull appears after your first move… and starts chasing after a short delay.
• Reach the End (E) tile to beat the world and unlock the next one.

Tip: Use the on-screen keypad if you’re on a tablet or don’t want to type.

What Kids Practice

• Subtraction fluency and number sense
• Focus and speed under pressure
• Perseverance (keep going even after mistakes)
• Strategy (settings + risk/reward with the bull chase)

Game Settings (What They Do)

• Start Difficulty: Makes numbers bigger right away.
• Difficulty Growth: Makes numbers grow faster each world.
• Start World: Jump to any world you’ve already unlocked.
• Starting Lives: More lives = more chances before game over.
• Bull Speed: How many squares the bull moves when it chases.
• Progress is saved on this device, so unlocked worlds stay unlocked.

Scoring & Challenge

• Correct answers give points (and more in later worlds).
• Finish a world to earn a bonus and unlock the next one.
• Try to beat your best score by starting on a higher world or increasing difficulty.

Teacher / Parent Notes

Best for 1st to 4th (and great review for older students)
Ways to use it:

• Math center or early finisher station
• 5-minute fluency warm-up
• “Beat your score” weekly challenge
• Small group competition (kids love the bull)

Differentiation ideas:

• Lower stress: increase lives + reduce bull speed
• More challenge: increase difficulty growth + start on a higher world
