Skills Practiced
- Vocabulary: choosing synonyms (words that mean the same) and antonyms (opposites).
- Word study: building compound words and matching contractions to the words they replace (can not = can’t).
- Spelling and meaning: picking the right homophone, such as to/two or wood/would.
