    Put single digit numbers in order from smallest to biggest.

    Student Tips:

    • Just count: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
    • Smallest number goes first, biggest goes last
    • If you see 7, 2, 9, put them as 2, 7, 9

    Teaching Instruction: Use number lines 0-10. Have students physically arrange number cards or manipulatives. Connect to “which comes first when counting?”
