Description: Practice identifying odd and even numbers up to 20.
Student Tips:

  • Even numbers always end in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8.

  • Odd numbers always end in 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9.

  • Try grouping objects in pairs—if one is left over, it’s odd!
    Teaching Instruction: Use counters or small objects for hands-on practice. Have students group numbers into pairs and explain whether the number is odd or even.
