The Very Hungry Caterpillar Instructions

In The Very Hungry Caterpillar, you guide the caterpillar through the week as he eats different foods and grows longer. Move around the grass, collect the day’s food, and keep the caterpillar from running into walls or into himself.

Use the Arrow Keys or WASD to move. On mobile, use the on-screen direction buttons. Press Spacebar to pause the game. Each time the caterpillar eats food, he grows longer and the story moves forward through the days of the week.

The game begins on Sunday, then moves through Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Final Sunday. Each day has its own food goal. Eat all of the food for that day to advance to the next part of the story.

On Saturday, the caterpillar eats a big feast of treats. On Final Sunday, he eats green leaves, builds a cocoon, and becomes a beautiful butterfly. After transforming, you can fly around as the butterfly and keep exploring.
