Falling- Earth Layers and More

Falling Instructions

There’s a massive hole in the Earth, and the only way forward is down. In Falling, you jump into the abyss and try to survive as long as possible while dropping through deeper and stranger layers of the planet.

Use the Left and Right Arrow Keys or A/D to steer as you fall. Your character builds up flight energy while dropping, then you can use that energy to slow down, glide, or push yourself toward safer paths. The goal is simple: keep falling, avoid smashing into walls, and explore as deep as you can.

As you descend, you’ll pass through different underground layers filled with rocks, tunnels, minerals, and side chambers. Some paths are wide and safe, while others are narrow and dangerous. Watch the walls carefully, because hitting the sides or crashing into the ground will hurt you. Take too much damage, and your fall is over.

Side chambers can help you survive longer. Some contain minerals, open spaces, or safer routes around tight sections of the main shaft. But not every side path is easy to escape from, so choose carefully before steering away from the center.

Falling Tips
Don’t fight gravity too much

Falling is about control, not stopping. Use your flight energy in short bursts to adjust your path instead of trying to hover forever. Small corrections are usually safer than big last-second saves.

Look below you

Keep your eyes ahead of your character and watch where the tunnel is leading. The faster you fall, the more important it is to plan your next move before you reach it.

Save your flight energy

It can be tempting to fly every time you get close to a wall, but your energy is limited. Save it for tight turns, sudden walls, and dangerous landings.

Use side chambers carefully

Side caves can be useful, but they can also trap you if you enter too fast. Aim for openings that give you enough room to turn around or continue falling safely.

Avoid hard impacts

Brushing a wall may not end your run right away, but crashing into rock at high speed can drain your health quickly. Slow yourself down before entering tight spaces.

Watch the Earth layers

The deeper you go, the environment changes. New minerals, tighter tunnels, and more dangerous cave shapes can appear as you fall farther from the surface.

Falling FAQ
What is the goal of Falling?

The goal is to survive as long as possible while falling deeper into the Earth. The farther you descend, the better your run.

How do I control the character?

Use the Arrow Keys or A/D to steer left and right. Use your flight ability when it is charged to slow down, glide, or move away from danger.

Can you fly forever?

No. Your flight ability is limited, so you need to use it carefully. Falling helps recharge your ability, but wasting it can leave you helpless when the tunnel gets dangerous.

What happens if I hit the wall?

Hitting walls or ground causes damage. A small bump might be survivable, but repeated hits or hard crashes can end the game.

Are the caves always the same?

No. The fall continues with changing tunnels, side chambers, and underground layers, so every run can feel different.

Is Falling a level-based game?

Falling is more of an endless survival game. Instead of completing stages, you try to keep descending and reach the deepest depth possible.
