Skills Practiced

• Naming car parts and matching each one to where it belongs (engine, battery, radiator, spark plug, brakes, fan belt, oil pan, tires, lights, muffler)
• Following multi-step repair directions in order, then testing the repair by starting the car
• Turning a wrench clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen (righty-tighty, lefty-loosey)
• Judging how tight is tight enough: stopping in the green torque zone instead of too loose or too tight
