Daily Math Quiz — 4th Grade
Tackle 5 quick, randomized questions to review key 4th-grade math skills. Every quiz is new!
⭐ Student Tips
For multi-digit multiplication, break apart by place value (hundreds/tens/ones) or use partial products.
For division with remainders, remember: dividend = divisor × quotient + remainder and the remainder is smaller than the divisor.
For fractions, keep the denominator when adding like parts, then simplify; equivalent fractions multiply/divide top and bottom by the same number.
When rounding, 5–9 rounds up; 0–4 rounds down (to the nearest 10/100/1000).
For decimals, compare tenths first, then hundredths.
A multiple of a number is that number times a whole number (e.g., multiples of 6: 6, 12, 18…).
📘 Teaching Instruction
Use as a warm-up, exit ticket, or spiral review.
Skills sampled:
1-digit × multi-digit multiplication
1-digit divisors (quotients with remainders)
Fraction equivalence & adding like denominators (simplest form)
Rounding to 10/100/1000
Decimal comparisons (to hundredths)
Factors & multiples
Encourage students to explain strategies (arrays/area model, number lines, factor trees).
Retake daily for mixed practice and informal progress monitoring.
