Objective

Build your civilization from the Stone Age through to the Modern Age by developing technologies using combinations of dice rolls. Complete all technologies before running out of turns to achieve victory!

Game Elements

  • 21 turns, starting in 2000 BC and advancing 200 years each turn
  • Begin with 5 dice, gain a 6th die in Classical Age, and a 7th die in Modern Age
  • 3 rolls per turn in Stone Age, 4 in Classical Age, and 5 in Modern Age
  • Hold dice between rolls to build combinations

  • Stone Age Technologies (need three matching dice)
    • Farms (three 1’s)
    • Settlement (three 2’s)
    • The Wheel (three 3’s)
    • Language (three 4’s)
    • Stone Weapons (three 5’s)
    • Mysticism (three 6’s)
  • Classical Age Technologies (need four matching dice)
    • Unlock after completing any three Stone Age technologies
    • Irrigation (four 1’s)
    • Town (four 2’s)
    • Roads (four 3’s)
    • Writing (four 4’s)
    • Iron Weapons (four 5’s)
    • Polytheism (four 6’s)
  • Modern Age Technologies (need five matching dice)
    • Unlock after completing any three Classical Age technologies
    • Agriculture (five 1’s)
    • Nation (five 2’s)
    • Vehicles (five 3’s)
    • Education (five 4’s)
    • Ballistics (five 5’s)
    • Monotheism (five 6’s)

Scoring System

  • Stone Age Technologies: 100 points each
  • Classical Age Technologies: 200 points each
  • Modern Age Technologies: 300 points each
  • Complete Stone Age Bonus: 500 points
  • Complete Classical Age Bonus: 1,000 points
  • Complete Modern Age Bonus: 1,500 points
  • Complete ALL Technologies Bonus: 5,000 points
  • Unused Turns Bonus: 1,000 points per turn

Strategy Tips

  • Multiple technologies can be unlocked in a single roll if you have enough matching dice
  • Higher-level technologies require more matching dice but are worth more points
  • Balance between advancing to new ages and completing current age technologies
  • Extra rolls in later ages increase your chances of getting difficult combinations
  • Consider saving turns for the bonus points if you complete technologies early

Victory Condition

Complete all technologies across all ages before reaching 2000 AD (running out of turns). Your final score will reflect how efficiently you developed your civilization!
